Crabtree Valley Dental is a dentist in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 2245 North Hills Dr, Raleigh, NC 27612, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. In Raleigh, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 783-8887. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is crabtreevalleydental.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 1,160 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Raleigh.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’ve been going here for years and up until the last couple months it’s been great. The dentists and hygienists are absolutely wonderful, but the front office staff is rude and incompetent. I can never get through over the phone and give emailed 4 times now with an inquiry and no response. The last time I was there I waited half a hour after my appointment time for them to finally tell me they were backed up because someone had called out sick. My mom has had an equally terrible experience with their office staff texting her sensitive medical information. I’m bummed to switch my dentist because the doctors here are so great, but dealing with this office is a nightmare.

I checked with my insurance to search for in network providers. I found Crabtree valley dental but called to verify. They confirmed they were in network. Make the appt and the day before I call to confirm I’m told they no longer are in network with any insurance companies and I would have to pay out of pocket. Barely an apology. They never let me know so I’m back to square one. After filling out pages and pages of documents with my insurance info. I now believe the review of them scamming folks

If you would have asked me a year ago I would have given five star, but sadly this dental office has gone down hill. When I started coming three years ago, this place was amazing! Now, It feels like a constant money pit and their bedside manner has been terrible the past year. They tried to tell me I needed special(expensive) gingivitis treatment- when I said I know I don’t have gingivitis because of other health conditions, they were like oh year you’re right you don’t. Every time I go it’s always something- you need a $400+ mouth guard, you need invisalign, etc. Its hard to trust what I actually need vs what they just want me to spend extra money on. In April, I planned my entire spring break around an appointment(booked months before) to get some fillings done- I waited 2+ hours and they had not even started doing anything yet, so I told them I needed to leave and they didn’t really seem to care. No one once apologized or followed up which was quite disappointing. So then, I had to take off another day of work to actually get them done. The dentist who did it was incredibly rough on me and my mouth and made me feel that I was a bother that I was asking to have it shaved down mor

I’m not saying I enjoy going to the dentist… but if I have to be there, I want the team at Crabtree Valley Dental. Sarah F. (with an H!) is hands-down the best hygienist ever. She’s thorough, caring, reassuring, and somehow quietly hilarious while scraping your teeth sharp enough to cut glass. I request her every single visit. Kathy runs an incredible office, and it shows. Veronica on the finance team made discussing procedures and insurance benefits way less painful than it had any right to be. She was funny, thorough, and went above and beyond with Kathy to make sure my benefits were fully maximized. And Chrissy at the front desk is so warm and welcoming that you almost forget you’re at a dentist appointment. Almost. And they all also, somehow, manage to keep the dentists themselves in line as well ;-) Fantastic people, excellent care, and an office that somehow makes dentistry feel human. Highly recommend!

Not a fan. I’ve been going here for years and just gradually over the past few years the amount of turnover the amount of staff change is unsettling. I rarely get the same dentist or dental assistant twice and it’s just very impersonal. It also feels like they’re always trying to figure out what they can charge you extra for— even though you have no pain or discomfort, they’ll tell you all the different things that you should be doing for your teeth and tell you what the care plan is and how you can make payments when it’s not necessary. But like I said, it used to be so good and hopefully with some stability and some relational work that it can improve again. It just makes me sad. Also, I just found out today that if you don’t confirm your appointment, they’ll just cancel it. I thought if I had an appointment I had an appointment. They told me they called and texted, but I had one voicemail, no texts and they didn’t say in the voicemail if you don’t call and confirm then your appointment will be canceled. So that’s just irritating. But they are correct. I didn’t call them to confirm my appointment that I made previously.
